When Barney's New York asked for a re-branding of their 8th floor women's co-op, the design concept sprang from hyper-merchandising of the Co-Op brand. Most shoppers on the 8th floor are under the age of 35 and shop with friends or their parents. To create an aura of excitement, the project creates a "forest" of three different custom hang bars that when viewed coming off the escalator, spell "CO-OP" in an anamorphic projection. Additional work was designed and installed around the perimeter as a modular system of racks and hangbars to tie together the new identity.
